Both are absolutely essential to convey a message with power and forcefulness. Not applying these two rules, makes any contents, however good, lose all its value. We can see a very good example of this in the reply made by the company SEAT S.A. to Netflix, following their comments on social networks about the SEAT 600 in the TV series La Casa de Papel. Master Class of Advanced Communication Techniques in the opening week of new offices of Grupo ALAVA in Barcelona. The speech was entitled “Change your Mind”, to provide a different approach to the issue of communication. We conducted a deep review to the relative importance of Contents and Staging, and provided a 360-degree-approach to the global issue of communication, particularly useful for presentations and communication between areas. Approaching more in detail, with no contents obviously there is no show, but 80% of the exercise lies in the concept of Staging, which is valid for absolutely everything, regardless of the kind of event and audience. When we speak in public, depending on the circumstances, there is always the possibility to go blank. However, unlike we may think, this does not have to do with being experts or beginners, but with being human. The important thing in these cases, as it also occurs with Stage Fright, is to manage the situation, and what I mean by that, is simply to know just how to get out of it.
The fear of public speaking, normally called Stage Fright, often emerges when we have to make a speech in front of a certain audience. The best way to knock it down is not try to avoid it, but to manage it.
